Museum Rietberg

Another gem in the museum world is Rietberg Museum which possess one of  Europe's best collections of Asian art (mainly Indian drawings). This museum is housed in two villas in the idyllic Rieter Park, west of Lake Zurich. The Rietberg Museum houses a huge collection of ethnographic and oriental objects of African sculptures and masks to kind of Buddha statues and ancient Mayan Art. The biggest collection, with wood, bronze and ceramic objects from Africa, Japan, India, China, Indonesia, Tibet and other South Asian countries can be found in Villa Wesendonck, a Neo-Renaissance mansion. In Villa Rieter you can admire the Asian art.
