The genius will explore what you can pay for!

The Museum of Design (Museum für Gestaltung), designed by the Zurich architects Steger and Egender, is a museum dedicated to industrial design, architecture, visual communication and graphic art by young designers; it’s all present here! Here you will find an impressive 33,000 posters of the 19th century to contemporary prints. This collection is regularly used as an example in art schools. Also, many famous Swiss designs are discussed, in addition there is design from the rest of Europe and modern Japan. Much work is exposed criss cross, so you can just walk around it. A visit is fun for the general public but also very interesting and inspiring for the real design lover! There are regular discussions, film and theater performances and concerts.
