In Lake Zurich are two islands. The island Ufenau is inhabited and the island Lützelau has been declared a nature reserve. The many villages and towns on this lake can be visited by a ferry. With the ferry you can easily visit such as the Alpamare water park in Pfäffikon or Lindt & Sprüngli chocolate factory in Kilchberg. Or put on your swimsuit and join the lapping locals!
A delightful place at the lake is Lake Side. The Lake Side terrace offers a magnificent view over Lake Zurich and the mountains in the background. The bill of fare contains a blend of flavors: Mediterranean, traditional Swiss and sometimes with some Asian influences. Shell fish and crustacean have always been prominent on the menu provided. For instance, you can find good sushi and a tasty brunch on Sundays. In summer opens the popular city beach! This beach is covered with beautiful palm trees and lounge areas. On the large sun terrace is a Jacuzzi and a swimming pool. There are enough drinks and the lounge music is playing late into the night.
