Coney Island is a Brooklyn neighbourhood with a famous amusement park on the Atlantic Ocean. There are about fifty different rides and attractions. The draw of Coney Island is the feeling of nostalgia it invokes. Go for a stroll on the boardwalk, take a ride on the Cyclone Roller Coaster and the Thunderbolt and buy a hotdog at the legendary original hotdog stand of the fast food chain Nathan’s Famous Hotdogs. In winter it can be a bit desolate, which only enhances the vintage vibe. In summer it can get pretty crowded, since the beach is quite appealing on hot New York summer days.
