The Salaam Baalak Trust City Walk is a great way to discover the other side of Delhi. On this walk you’ll see the city through the eyes of a street kid. You’ll be guided by adolescents that used to live and work on the streets of Delhi. They will take you through the web of streets around the Railway Station and in the Pahargani area. The guide will tell you about the problems and dangers that street children encounter. You’ll also hear stories about how they ended up on the street and learn how they survive and where they get money. Besides a unique insight in the lives of street children, you support the Salaam Balaak Trust and help the guides improve their language and communication skills. The City Walk takes about two hours.
