Enoteca Il Vinaietto

The genius will explore what you can pay for!

This is one of the oldest wine bars of Rome, in the heart of the city. Il Vinaietto started as a Vino Olio in the 1960s, when wine in bulk and olive oil was sold. Meanwhile, Marco and Giancarlo are at the helm, two former communists who believe in fair prices. That means that many, many wines - mostly bought by the glass - are reasonably priced. It is a place where many locals come for lunch or an aperitivo, for a glass of wine (or two) and have lively discussions about wine and politics.
