Empire State Building

The genius will explore what you can pay for!

With its 381 meters, the Empire State Building is one of the tallest buildings not just in New York, but in the United States. The skyscraper has 102 stories and is a landmark on the New York skyline. It features in countless movies and television series. There’re 73 elevators, but to reach the top floor, you need to switch elevators twice. The Observation Deck is on the 86th floor and like you’d expect, the views are phenomenal.

The Empire State Building is open every day between 8 am and 2 am, so you can also go up after dark to see the city by night. The lines are often long. To avoid the worst crowds, it’s best to go before 10 am or after 9 pm. The last elevator is at 1.15 am. The Empire State Building is beautifully lid at night. The lighting gets adapted for holidays and special occasions. The LED lights can produce a whopping 16 million different colours of light.
