To avoid the worst crowds, it’s best to go before 10 am or after 9 pm. The last elevator is at 1.15 am. The Empire State Building is beautifully lid at night. The lighting gets adapted for holidays and special occasions. The LED lights can produce a whopping 16 million different colours of light.
