Ginja is a typically Portuguese liqueur that is very popular among lisboêtas. It is made from sour cherries and served in shot glasses, with or without the cherries. Ginjinha do Rossio is a hole-in-the-wall bar, selling the liqueur since 1840. For about a euro a glass, you'll drink a ginja with the locals on Rossio Square.
