Amsterdam

The genius will explore what you can pay for!

Venice of the North

What started as a small fishing village grew thanks to trade in herring and beer - products the Amsterdam people still love - into a world-class trade center. The largest historical center of Europe with more than 7,000 listed buildings from the 16th to the 20th century, often with large courtyards, more than 80 museums and galleries around 100 invites to visit. As well as shopping, eating out or dancing, name it and Amsterdam lets you choose from tons of features. And even though Amsterdam has an impressive number of attractions and activities, the great thing is that they are all more or less within walking distance of each other. So, in this over 700 year old city on stilts, you hop from the famous Albert Cuyp market to a hipster shop with smoothies in district De Pijp (The Pipe) and then enjoy a classical concert at the Concertgebouw or an imported singer-songwriter in Paradiso. And if you manage to loose your way, every Amsterdammer will show you where to go.
