Chinatown in San Francisco

With a population of more than 100,000 San Francisco’s Chinatown is one of the largest Chinese neighbourhoods in the United States. With its typical Chinese entrance gate characterizes the beautifully decorated Asian buildings in the neighbourhood. Strolling down the busy streets like Grant Avenue and Stockton Street you can visit one the many restaurants or exotic shops or step in one of the temples (especially Tin How Temple).

Chinatown is always crowded with tourists, but if you go into the side streets it quickly becomes more quiet and authentic.
