About 80 kilometres North of Udaipur lays the fantastic Kumbhalgarh Fort. It was built in the 15th century and was seen as an impregnable fort. It is protected by a big wall. It is a whopping 36 kilometres long, making it the second longest wall in the world, after the Great Wall of China. That’s why it’s sometimes dubbed the Great Wall of India. It has seven large gates and several watchtowers. In the fort complex houses 360 temples. In the top of the fort is the Badal Mahal, a beautiful palace with colourful rooms that provide you with stunning panorama views.
