Daytrip Formentera

The genius will explore what you can pay for!

Formentera has no airport, but from Ibiza or St. Eulària, you can take the ferry and are within half an hour from the sandy white beach. The shearwaters nest is situated in the rocks on the shore. Formentera has some nice beaches such as Playa de ses Illetes and Playa de Llevant. The northern part of Formentera belongs to the natural park of Ses Salines, the majority of the park lies on the island of Ibiza. The highest point of Formentera is Far de la Mola in the east. Sunday is ‘Mola-day’: the craftsmen sell their chocolate cake, painted mirrors and wooden bracelets, all handmade. Among the sights are the salt pans Las Salinas with the nearly 4000 year old ciliary megalithic tomb of Ca Na Costa, the church of Sant Francesc and the port of La Savina.
