Phang Nga Bay

The bay Phang Nga Bay is unique, flora and fauna of this area are breathtaking. From the emerald green waters of Phang Nga Bay huge impressive limestone cliffs rise up. For that reason the bay is also often used as a backdrop for many films. Famous is the so-called James Bond Island (Koh Tapuh) where in 1974 The Man with the Golden Gun was partially recorded.

Divers are also being given plenty of attention in Phang Nga Bay. Several small islands are nearby. Similan Island is such a small island, where for example a Nature Park is located which in turn consists of a number of other islands. This park is recognized as one of the best dive sites in the world. Furthermore, in this region wall drawings and attributes have been found, which are to 10,000 years of age in some cases. This area has beautiful beaches. The mangroves here - the largest in Thailand - are used by the locals as waterways. As is to be expected, there is lots of exotic wildlife.
