The botanical garden of Bordeaux is a communal garden and therefore accessible to everyone. The garden includes a collection of more than 2,500 native and exotic plants. The accompanying museum has a permanent collection of seeds, fruits, herbaria and more. If you get excited and want to gain more knowledge, you can visit the library or ask for a guided tour. You can also go off to the garden by yourself.
In summer (from the last weekend in March to the last weekend of October), the gardens are open two hours longer and you can enjoy the Botanical Garden until 8 PM. You can find a nice souvenir in the bookstore or gift shop.
