Gallerie Dell'Accademia

The genius will explore what you can pay for!

The Gallerie Dell’Accademia is the most important art gallery in Venice. The museum has an impressive art collection. There are many Venetian masters on display, among whom Bellini, Tintoretto, Veronese and Titian. But there are also works by Hieronymus Bosch and Leonardo DaVinci.

A large part of the collection comes from the Accademia di Bella Arti. The paintings were donated to the academy by the artists, as teaching material for the students. The collection became open for public when Napoleon turned it into a museum.
