Beaches of Phuket

Phuket's beaches are diverse, but all equally as beautiful. Phatong Beach is the most famous beach in Phuket. It has beautiful sheltered bays, white beaches, clear sea, good accommodations and a large aray of fish cuisine. It is only 15 kilometers from the city centre and it offers opportunities for sports, shopping and - of course - for sunbathing and swimming. But here you can also go wind surfing, snorkeling and diving. In addition, Phatong is also known for its vibrant nightlife, in which many fish restaurants and bars play an important role.

Karon Beach is more quiet and is located near a village where many artists live. Surfers and families like visit Kata Beach. The beach is surrounded by palm trees and the accommodations are some closer to the beach. Phi Phi Island is very popular as a beach location.
