St. Paul’s Cathedral

The genius will explore what you can pay for!

St. Paul’s Cathedral is an icon on the London skyline. This gorgeous Gotic church houses 1.400 years of London history and is the second largest church in England. The cathedral has been rebuilt up to five times, after several fires and destruction by the Vikings. The current design is by Sir Christopher Wren and dates from 1673.

Many historic events took place here, like the funerals of Winston Churchill, the Duke of Wellington and Margareth Thatcher and the wedding of Prince Charles and Diana. Admire the splendid interior’s many mosaics, visit the underground crypt with the graves of famous historic figures and climb the 528 steps of the Dome to the Golden Gallery.
