Confeiteria de Belém

Pasteïs - puff pastry tarts filled with sweet cream, served with cinnamon and powdered sugar - can be found all over Lisbon. But the most famous and according to many the best ones are the pasteís de Belém. You can find the Confeiteria de Belém in the Belém district. You'll recognize the shop by the many people standing in line, but it's well worth the wait.
