Saligão

The genius will explore what you can pay for!

In this town you find the Mãe De Deas Parish Church (1873), built in Neo-Gothic style with its many playful little towers. Each one of the altars is a showpiece in itself. Both the interior and the exterior stand out, because most churches in Goa are built following the strict rules of the Baroque. At night the church is beautifully lit, giving it a fairytale-like feel that leaves no one unmoved.
