Balangan Beach

Kuta is the most famous surf beach in Bali. Ideal if you love crowds, traffic, Australian tourists and parties. Rather not? Then travel - it takes about an hour - to the west coast of the southern peninsula of Bali. Here are surfing mecca's like Balangan Beach. This is  much more quiet than Kuta, but has all the necissary features. Surfers from all over the world come to this beach to ride the biggest waves. 

Balangan Beach is conveniently located next to other famous surf spots such as Dreamland Beach, Suluban Beach, Impossible Beach, Bingin Beach, Padang Padang Beach and Uluwatu Beach. The highest waves are from April to August. Just lying on the beach, snorkeling and enjoying the views is also allowed.
